Industrial Security Analyst

Northrop Grumman is looking for a multifaceted innovative thinking Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located in Middle River, MD.
This is a fast pace position and requires independent judgment and discretion, as well as the identification, analysis and resolution of security-related matters.

Responsibilities include:
+ Administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
+ Conduct new employee briefings, exit interviews an debriefings, investigating and reporting security violations, incident reports, coordination of personnel periodic re-investigations and preparation of DD254 forms for subcontractors
+ Annual duties include assisting in the preparation of refresher training, self-inspections and DSS security reviews
+ Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations
+ Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
+ Understands Intelligence Community and US Department of Defense security requirements
+ Prepares manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and record keeping
+ Conducts security education classes, prepares visit request, and security audits
+ Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
+ Provide support for all security functions in accordance with the ICDs, SAP, and NISPOM regulations
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety or related degree and10 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and 8 years of experience or an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ Extensive knowledge ofDoD 5220.22-M manual
+ Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to maintain flexibility with changing priorities and deadlines
+ Must have an Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtainSAP and SCI access and willingness to submit to a Polygraph examination
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
+ FSO certification
+ OPSEC program experience
+ Experience with SAP and SCI programs
+ Knowledge of ICDs and SAP security programs and policies DoD 5205.07
+ Experience with drafting and managing Fixed Facility Checklists
+ COMSEC experience to include equipment and key inventory and management
+ Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet iterative deadlines

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
