Mechanical Engineering Intern

JOB SUMMARY:
To provide support to plants so they can meet their scheduled timeline for compiling the required data for Fiix Phase 2 implementation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Gather list of all assets and compile OEM maintenance requirements for each asset onto predefined data templates
2. Work with plant personnel to obtain necessary drawings and OEM maintenance manuals
3. Contact vendors to obtain missing OEM maintenance manuals
4. Review drawings and walk down equipment to compile a comprehensive list of all assets
5. Review OEM maintenance manual for each asset and extract all preventative and predictive maintenance activates onto a data template
6. Work in plant environment and meet safety requirements
7. Take pictures of assets and nameplates
8. Store information electronically by asset name
9. Setup filing system to store information not able to be electronically stored
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
1. Advanced understanding of engineering, mechanical engineering preferred
2. Energetic, organized and detailed skilled with today's technology
3. Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and with teams.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:
1. College students entering junior and senior year with concentration in engineering
2. Ability to travel to sites
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

2. Sitting, Standing, Walking, Fingering
3. The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions
4. The worker is subject atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: Fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
5. The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to bio-solids



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
