Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Project Manager 2 assist in execution of the Battlefield Airborne Control Node (BACN) program at the Airborne Systems Integration Center (ASIC) in Middle River, Maryland.
Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a CONUS Manager of Project Management on the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) program at our Martin State Airport, Middle River, MD location.
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
General Description:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Specific Description:
The CONUS Project Management Manager is responsible for the following:
Overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serving as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Reviewing status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Assessing project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers.
Monitoring and reports on the status of CONUS and OCONUS operations.
Talent management of all assigned employees (Initial/mid-year/end of year Performance Review, yearly goal setting with direct reports)
In addition, he/she is overall responsible for the following:
Assisting in the overall management of the program to include development of business proposals and assessment/studies/analysis to meet USAF program requirements
Interfacing with USAF customer, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and other subcontractors as necessary to meet mission requirements
Personnel management
Assisting the program manager with oversight of Financial Management as a Cost Account Manager
Oversight of Maintenance Operations
Enhancing Maintaining Customer Intimacy
Planning & scheduling
Operational Risk Management
Risk & Opportunity Management
Taleo (HR Website) Talent Requisition creation working closely with NG Recruiter
Providing Intranet Program Review System (IPRS) inputs regarding BACN program performance in absence of Program Manager
Planning and executing Monthly Program Management Review (PMR) internally within NG/ASIC or with the USAF customer
Inserting monthly NG Workbench inputs in absence of Program Manager
Managing execution of assigned Contractor Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL)
Accurately communicates project and aircraft status to the customer
Coordinates program issues with the BACN CLS Program team
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent and minimum of 5 years of industry or military experience. Secret clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Aviation background
Knowledge of NG internal process and policies
PMP Certification
Experience with special mission aircraft systems
Proposal and negotiations experience
Aircraft Integration and flight test experience
FAA and/or military airworthiness experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
